Supervision
The LtB Psychology Practice also provides supervision to mental health care providers and to GZ psychologists in training in the Netherlands.
Supervision is a form of professional guidance in which the supervisor works with the supervisee to support and advance their professional development. The entire purpose of supervision is to improve the quality of the supervisee’s work and to help them develop their professional skills and competencies.
During the supervision process, we will discuss the work experience of the supervisee and reflect on their personal and professional development. We will also reflect on the challenges that the supervisee experiences in their work and explore how these can best be tackled. Furthermore we will also pay attention to the theoretical frameworks that are important for the work of the supervisee and how they can be best applied in practice. Our supervisor Linda ten Barge can also address special areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy during supervision.
At our practice we provide a safe and supportive environment in which the supervisee can speak freely and have the space to reflect on their own work. Specific questions will be asked to help the supervisee clarify their own thinking process, and wherever necessary, feedback and advice will be given.
If you have any questions about our supervision service, or if you are interested in being supervised, please do not hesitate to contact us.
