Therapy
At the LtB Psychology Practice we offer professional and personal psychological care to (young) adults. Our practice provides a safe and confidential environment where you can share your thoughts and feelings. Linda ten Barge is a highly trained professional with extensive experience in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders and in providing psychological treatments to expats. All treatments will be tailored to suit your specific needs and to achieve the best possible results for you.
At our practice we work with a range of different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, as well as elements from Psychodynamic Therapy.
We offer in-person sessions held at our practice, but if you are unable to meet in person we also offer sessions online and by telephone.
If you would like your treatment to be covered by your health insurance, then a referral letter from your GP will be required. The referral letter must state that you are being referred to general basic care (BGGZ) and that there is (or a suspicion of) a psychological disorder.
Your registration with our practice will be followed by an intake session, which consists of a conversation and, if necessary, questionnaires and test materials to assess your complaints. This will allow us to better understand your current situation and to tailor a plan to fit your specific needs. Following this psychodiagnostic assessment phase, we will discuss the treatment plan and method with you. During the treatment phase, we will work in a process of regular sessions in which collaboration is paramount. Attention will also be given to monitoring your progress and making adjustments where necessary.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you would like to make an appointment.
